PET TRAILER $5/Hr $25/Day $100/Week Can accompany your bike ride; like a side car. Trailers are $5/hr in addition to an ebike rental. We have two pet trailers available to attach to most e-bikes: Internal Clip-in Leash; Rear Doggy Door 50lbs Recommended Weight Capacity 30”x19"x17" Internal Dimensions; 16” wheels Internal leash, wide bed, and anti-slip floor will keep your furry friend safe on your ride.

For your safety, we provide and encourage helmet use during your rental excursion. Helmets are required for anyone under 18 years of age.

Please complete the waivers for each renter/rental group. Please follow all road safety rules. For reference, we offer locks (cable, chain, folding, and u- locks), helmets, and chargers (for overnight/weekly rentals).

Please comply with the speed limit along the beach paths: 8mph Speed Limit at/near Newport Beach/Balboa Piers. Please take heed of all traffic regulations and bike lanes when available.
WALK all e-mobility please, in front of/near businesses near the piers.

E-Bike range is based on battery life & rider’s throttle use. Most of our e-bikes have a 30-50 mile range; we do offer select RAEVs with dual batteries (approx.. 80-100 mile range) Each of our rentals are fully charged and prepared for the day's rentals.
*All our e-bikes are peddle assist and a majority do offer throttle. Please be aware, if using the throttle only, the battery will deplete itself within 30-45 minutes. E-bikes have an estimated range of 30-50 miles when throttle is used efficiently.

Please keep in mind, due to the busy Summer Rental schedule, we may not have a replacement e-bike for you if your battery runs out due to excessive throttle use. *Based on availability for replacement. E-bikes leave fully charged at the start of the day; unless it's during the middle of the day, we will ensure the rental will have enough battery for the duration of the rental request.
It is a general understanding to utilize the electric power combined with low effort peddling to allow for the peddle assist to kick in. This prolongs the battery life for the duration of your rental and is effective to enjoying a longer bike ride.

We thank you for your visit and your consideration and understanding of our recent waiver adjustments. Due to rentals returned damaged/stolen, we’ve added cleaning &/or replacement fees IF rentals return muddy/salt water/ excess sand/debris;
$25-$50 CLEANING FEE PER ITEM.
In addition, replacement fees vary if theft/damages occur to our rental items, including broken fenders/lights, lost keys/chargers/helmets.
We strongly encourage correct use of our locks & proper storage during overnight rentals.

FOR YOUR SAFETY, please be sure to properly POWER OFF e-bikes after each use/parking. Avoid leaving e-bikes “on” when parking/getting off your e-bike.

Due to heavy theft and damage last summer, we are adding a cleaning/damage/replacement fees disclaimer here, as well as to our waivers.
We thank you in advance for understanding.
Please be aware to avoid salt water as it damages our equipment; also please avoid excessive mud/beach sand as a $50 cleaning fee will be incurred for equipment returned dirty. We do take pride in making sure our equipment are clean and prepared for the day's renters.
We hope they return in a light cleaning condition as it will take more time for us to prepare for the next renters, if returned muddy/salt water.
Also, to avoid damage/replacement fees, please be careful with our equipment (including locks and keys) as we do our best to ensure they're kept in great condition.
We start each rental season with a new, if not like-new ebike/escooter/paddleboard fleets; essentially, with new equipment every season, as we do sell used rentals towards the end of the summer/mid fall as we prepare to update our rental fleet. If you are interested in purchasing a used rental, you're welcomed to leave your name and information on our wait list.
In addition, if you are interested in purchasing any of our ebikes/escooters, we do offer a loyalty incentive: if you've rented from us, we offer to apply what you've spent in rentals, minimum $25, maximum UP TO $200 , credit towards your purchase.
